Which heat shrink material should I use?

Polyolefin covers most electrical insulation. PVC is cheaper for static marking. Silicone and fiberglass take high heat; PTFE/PFA resist chemicals and solvents.

Is polyolefin halogen-free?

Our DRS and WLDRS ranges are halogen-free and flame retardant. Standard polyolefin is flame retardant but may contain halogen — tell us your market and we match the grade.

What temperature can fiberglass sleeving take?

Silicone-coated fiberglass typically runs to +200°C, vermiculite-coated braid to +550°C, and polyimide (Kapton) sleeving to +400°C.

Do you supply PTFE for medical use?

Yes — PTFE/FEP/PFA tubing is used in medical and pharmaceutical lines where purity and chemical resistance matter. Share your spec and we confirm the grade.
