Selection inputs for quotation

Busbar insulation exists to stop three failures: phase-to-phase short circuit, pollution flashover along the surface, and accidental touch in accessible switchgear. Tape wraps are cheap but creep and gap under heat cycling; molded shrouds fit one geometry; heat-shrink casing conforms to the bar and keeps a continuous wall. Size from the system voltage and the bar dimensions, not from a catalogue number: 8.7/15 kV and 26/35 kV need different wall and anti-tracking grade. For a sized quote, send the voltage class, the bar width and thickness, the phase spacing and whether the run is indoor, outdoor or polluted-substation air.
